Three radio spots discussed Nextwave Multimedias’ prize winning app ‘Comics Creator’ and the popular e-comic Panchatantra Tales; Mr. PR Rajendran, of the Company also gave his testimonial about the opportunities provided by Intel to young developers.

Comicshead.com, Nextwave’s digital comics venture, and Animation Focuz, South India’s first monthly animation magazine, jointly present ‘Are you a Comicshead?’ webcomics contest, beginning from April 10th to May 31st, 2010.

All you have to do is create comics of your own, and submit them at Comicshead.com. The concept/idea could be anything…so let your imagination run wild.

The competition is open to all. The only criteria is you should be registered with Comicshead.com.

Not an Artist? Not a Problem!
With Comicshead, you can either use your own skills or the easy-to-use ‘Comics Creator‘ tool to create your comics.

‘Comics Creator’ has a large library of backgrounds, characters in various emotive states, and in different styles of illustrations, dialog bubbles, etc. The library is being upgraded, continually. So that, you will never have to use the same thing twice, unless you choose to.

There are many tutorials, including a video, to help you create comics using the ‘Comics Creator’.

If you’re an artist, then you can upload your comics, right away!

Nextwave Multimedia’s new venture Comics Head launches mobile content in the Android Market place.
3 mobile illustrated stories, ‘The Story of Gandhi’, ‘Panchatantra’ and ‘Thomas Alva Edison’, are right now available for download.
These comics are already available in Nokia’s OVI and Apple’s Itunes. The comics will be soon available on Windows mobile market place and Sony Ericsson’s app store.
